Springhill Winter Sports Park is located 15 minutes from downtown Winnipeg, off Highway 59 North on Oasis Road.

We provide skiing and snowboarding, ski and snowboard rentals, and professional ski and snowboard lessons. Also on site is Canadian Ski Patrol first aid service, a kitchen, and a licensed sports bar. Our hill stands at 150 vertical feet and has four lifts: one quad chair lift, one handle tow and two rope tows.

Our hill includes Manitoba’s top terrain park, a race run, and open areas for learning. Springhill has 100% snowmaking capability and daily grooming to ensure the best local snow conditions.

History: Celebrating 40 Years of serving the community!

1979..time flies! It’s hard to believe that 2019 marks the 40th year of Springhill as a winter park. There’s been a lot of growth and positive changes over the years. We’d like to pay tribute to the some of the origins as well as looking ahead to the future. Here we have Richard Kerluck (pictured top left) who has been the head of Springhill’s Ski Patrol from the start. Over the years The Hill has been a breeding ground and home to several athletes like champion snowboarder Jody Wachniak. More recently, The Backside Nine crew (pictured in the middle) have been chosen as trainers to represent Team Manitoba at the 2019 Winter Games.

We are very proud of these individual and group accomplishments as we have become a home fostering winter sports development. Of course, none of this rich history would be possible without the support of our community that has brought their families out for fun year after year. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of making your memories. We continue to move forward in our vision for the future as it looks as bright as the snow on the hill .
